WWRF - Wireless World Research Forum

The Wireless World Research Forum (WWRF) is a global organisation, which was founded in August 2001. Members of the Forum are manufacturers, network operators and service providers, R&D centres, universities, and small and medium enterprises

The WWRF provides a global platform for discussion of results, exchange of views to initiate global cooperation towards systems beyond 3G. The Forum's main goal is to identify and scope research issues relevant to future mobile and wireless communications, including pre-regulatory impact assessments.

Eurescom's role: Secretariat of the WWRF, which includes the provisioning of administrative services, online communication services, and hosting of the website.

DMP - Digital Media Project

The Digital Media Project (DMP) is a not-for-profit organisation with the mission to promote continuing successful development, deployment and use of Digital Media that respect the rights of creators and rights holders to exploit their works, the wish of end users to fully enjoy the benefits of Digital Media and the interests of various value-chain players to provide products and services.

Eurescom's role: Secretariat of the DMP, which includes the provisioning of administrative services and online communication services.
